The WSA holds inaugural Athlete Advancement Series for elite women athletes looking to grow their own personal brand

Apr 13, 2022

The Women’s Sports Alliance (WSA), part of the Cube International group, together with data partner Halfspace, will be holding its first Athlete Advancement Series today. The series, a brand-new initiative, has been designed to provide elite female athletes with the tools to develop new commercial opportunities, grow their personal brands, protect their intellectual property and understand first party relationships with fans, as well as much more.

Contributing to the sponsorship discussion panel, global sports brand adidas will also be in attendance, discussing what adidas looks for when sponsoring a female athlete, and why it is important, from adidas’ perspective, for athletes to focus on growing their own personal brand.

As well as the WSA, Halfspace and adidas, the event will be supported by industry leading experts in data, social media and content. The event series is set to be a launchpad for athletes in 2022 and beyond.

Today’s event is fully booked, with many high-profile female athletes from all over the world attending. It will take place from 9.30 to 6pm today at Fleet Street in London.

Jordan Guard, WSA founder and MD, said: “I am thrilled to be working with the Halfspace Group and adidas to drive women’s sport forward. The Athlete Advancement Series is set to be a series of fantastic events that will inspire and provide an abundance of value for the attending athletes. I’m so proud of where the Women’s Sports Alliance is going and bringing this, our inaugural Athlete Advancement Series event to life, in the presence of so many exceptional female athletes, is a true statement of intent for our future vision.”
