OUR TEAMCUBE MANAGEMENT
Mr Never Say Die
Jon is Cube Management’s MD. He’s held key roles in retail, banking and professional sport throughout his career, including the creation of the Worcestershire Rapids. Watching them win the biggest trophy in domestic cricket was one of his proudest moments. An avid family man and sports enthusiast, Jon’s a calculated risk-taker and decision-maker who loves working in Cube’s fast-paced environment.
Motto: It’s not how many times you get knocked down that counts, it’s how many times you get back up.
Mr Project Director
Mr Big Events
James joined Cube following ten successful years delivering event sites, festival stages and brand activations. His keen eye for detail and desire to push boundaries makes him a great asset to any task. James leads Cube’s large-scale projects, including high throughput Covid Testing sites and Formula E and is currently working on an exciting calendar of events for 2022. He’s also a Fender Guitar and DJ decks pro.
Motto: Work smart, not hard
Mr Partner Relationships
Mr Cycling Adventurer
Charles is our Commercial Manager, working with partners and clients to create collaborative relationships for Cube’s events. He has worked with professional sports teams and global brands in a number of commercial and sports apparel industry roles. He’s also a keen sportsman. Away from work he loves nothing better than going on cycling adventures in different locations with friends.
Motto: Relationships are built on trust. Trust builds relationships
As Head of Operations, Adam brings a wealth of experience in operation and planning processes to the team. He’s worked in the construction industry for many years and is as enthusiastic about solving problems and relating to people as he is pouring over spreadsheets. Originally from Cork (you can still detect the odd Irish twang), he came to the UK to study Construction Management and hasn’t looked back. He lives in Leicestershire, is an avid Leicester Tigers fan, and loves working, describing himself as never sitting still and never saying no.
Motto: You win…or you learn!
Mr Project Manager
Mr Tensile King
Brad, who joined us a few years ago as an event apprentice, is passionate, driven and brings a youthful perspective to the Cube team. Having successfully graduated from his apprenticeship course, he is now one of our skilled project managers. Hugely talented, unflappable and totally reliable, he recounts his year building structures around the globe at F1 Grand Prix circuits as one of his highlights. He loves to travel and also happens to be a successful motocross rider and an accomplished golfer.
Motto: Life is for living, make the most of it
Miss Ops Manager
Gemma joined us after spending 15+ years in logistics. She’s a qualified transport manager, studying whilst on maternity leave, which gave her the learning bug. She’s now completing her level 5 CIPD at home, whilst also looking after her young daughter, Ellie. Gemma loves a challenge, thrives under pressure, and is very happy to have joined the Cube family, citing its team vision and dedication as ‘inspiring’. She also loves to shop, even if it means sourcing grass tyres for a JCB!
Motto: Let’s go team, we’ve got this!
Mr Project Manager
Mr Client Liaison
Mr Problem Solver
Ben is one of Cube Management’s planning and operations gurus. He joined us during the middle of the Covid pandemic and oversees a range of portable building and event infrastructure projects from conception to construction, including build, site management, planning, client liaison and after-sales. He’s dedicated, easy-going and, as an avid snooker fan, loves nothing more than potting a few reds at the end of a hard day’s work.
Motto: When in doubt, call Ben!
Mr Project Coordinator
Mr Sports Masters Degree
Mr Charity & Volunteering
Harry joined us in 2021, a hard-working and enthusiastic member of the Cube team. He’s a proud dyslexic, fully understanding his condition, and loves to be creative and getting fully and immersively involved. As a masters graduate in International Sports Management, he’s not only a keen sportsman, he’s also a charity challenge and volunteer enthusiast. In addition, he’s a big gin fan and loves building things, especially pallet furniture.
Motto: To be early is to be on time and to be on time is to be late
Miss Event Support
Sarah joined us after completing her Event Management degree at Gloucester uni. She is, finally, happy to consider herself a ‘graduate’, after her graduation ceremony was delayed by more than a year due to Covid. A most valued member of our team, Sarah coordinates our travel plans, on-event staffing and PR stories, and is always willing to help out at events where needed. She also loves visiting new places, going out for food, and reading.
