The Role

JOB TITLE: Retail Operations Manager

REPORTING TO: Retail Director

LOCATION: West Midlands

Due to Cube Partnership’s rapid growth, an opportunity has arisen to work within our event retail team. The successful candidate will assist with the retail operations for the group’s numerous accounts. Due to the nature of sporting events, the successful candidate will be required to work some weekends, bank holidays and internationally when required.

As part of a young, fast-growing business, this is an incredibly exciting opportunity to build a project from the ground up, allowing this individual to make their mark on the business. The successful candidate will be expected to establish ways-of-working, relationships, processes and best-practices.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Retail Director to create customised retail experience for each account
  • Work with each partner to ensure all retail opportunities are explored and executed
  • Coordinate the bump in and out of all permanent and pop-up retail
  • Liaising with account managers, partners and suppliers on retail logistics and maintaining MDS where required
  • Manage critical path for new store opening and manage communication with relevant teams to ensure timely execution and collaboration across all departments
  • Work with 3rd party service providers where required, ensuring the high standard of delivery are met.
  • Liaise and build strong communication channel with merchandising team to assist with product allocation.
  • Collaborate with brand design team for best in class customer experience and optimal operational flow
  • Responsible for compiling venue packs to venue managers.

The Candidate

  • Previous operational experience within a retail environment required
  • Previous experience in pop up, multi venue events
  • Experience operating internationally
  • A self-starter prepared to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work in a young company, building structures and processes through rapid growth
  • Flexible approach to responsibilities and workload. Willing to collaborate with other teams to get the job done
  • A great team-player with a can-do, positive attitude
  • Ability to think strategically but also has the ability to roll their sleeves up and ‘get their hands dirty’
  • Flexible working schedule but weekends and overnights will be required at times
  • Prepared to spend time on-the-road at key event times, including international events.
